Competition time!
I'm now running the inaugural competition for Paul Toeman Photography members. Since I love all types of photography ~ possibly with exception of yet more blurred fountains ~ I want to see how people take pictures of other people. Those "moments" that live on in photos are what matter - call it reportage or photo-journalism, whatever. I call it great people photography.
So I'm encouraging my friends to email me photos, which will be put through the judges' mill (me!) with the winning image being Photoshop'd to within an inch of its life, posted online and a free print + memory card sent to the winner!
This is the difference between people who do photography for a living (not me) ~ and photographers (me and PTP members).
Keep it real.

When I'm working....
I miss being with my family, but it's the path I've chosen. So I've got to get the balance right, huh?
Last night - another superb party capping off a week of fun for a young lady called Amie. Her Batmitzvah was a really special event, surrounded by her loving family and friends all week, culminating in a great party in central London.
Photos will be up soon, here's one angle I caught -

Angela and John - in the foot of the Tower!
A truly wonderful wedding in the foothills of the Tower of London, followed by a relaxed reception at the River Lounge - loads of fun! The happy couple then kept the rinver theme going with a few days chilling in Venice. Awesome!

Here's their funky wedding video - slideshow link.

Gotta have a mission in life....
... and after much soul-searchng and re-writing, to coincide with the re-branding exercise, here is mine...
Paul Toeman Photography
A fun & fresh approach to creating engaging images
which evoke unforgettable memories.
Now, I'm no writer, but I'm quite proud of that.
It sums up my attitude to my business and life (fun & fresh) / that I create engaging & unforgettable images (not just photos) / and that I want my clients to be with me for life.
Amen.
